When I am stopped or going very slow, there is a high pitch noise like a whistling noise when I turn the wheels.

Any ideas on what this is?

Does it sound like your steering wheel doing it, if so it has to do with the power steering or the airbag if you have one. My car makes this noise when turning sometimes and I was told it had to deal with the airbag, although my car is a beretta it can happen on any car. If it is very quiet I wouldn't worry a lot, but if it is a loud whistling noise i'd get it checked out or just call and ask a dealer about it!
