I just got a car from GM regarding a recall to do with "04002 Ignition Circuit Thermal Events".
I'm going to call the stealership tomorrow and find out what's up. But I'd love to get a heads up first, so I can know what to expect.

i had minbe fixed, its free since its a recall, but they never told me what exactly was wrong with it

The dealer will install a new harness with a relay for the starter. This is to limit the amount of heat build up in the starter circuit in the steering column to prevent a possibly fire in the event of an extended crank. Basically if someone held the key in the start position for a very ling time without the car starting, it could cause a fire in the column.
