I am thinking of getting a superchip made by the Superchip company for my cavy. I have heard from many people that they are worth the money and that they make better gas mileage and better performance. I was wondering what ya'll thought about them, and if you have one, what changes have you noticed in performance/gas mileage.
you are right and wrong. they don't make a "chip" (man, i hate that term) for 96 and newer but superchips will custom design your PCM, have no idea on pricing, although it's probably cheaper than a standalone and should be a decent way to go if you are deep in engine mods. if your just talking bolt-on's then i would forget about it.

i emailed them a while back to see if they would make one for the jbodies, they said not likely, dont know about custom one off though
