i want to get a bigger TB for my sunfire what is the bore size on the stock one. and what size should i get for the new one. i have the 2200 motor 01 sunfire.
I think that the stock is 52 milimeters someone correct me if im wrong. and you should try and get the 2.3 throttle body off the old 95 cavaliers or grandams. that one is 56mm. this is what i am looking for right now and based on what other people have said it is a worthwhile mod and uses very slight modifications to make it fit.

he has a 2200 not the Z motor.
oh, so what is the stock opening of the 2200? i thought it was 52. thanks for correcting me all this time i thought that it was 52. either ways 01sunfire just try to get the 2.3 throttle body same performance and less money spended
