Okay, I got my girlfriend a 1996 Cavalier convertible 5 speed with a blown engine for 1000$. I got a motor for 475$, 76K on it out of an Achieva (Thats good because people beat on cavys more than achievas). While it is out I am doint the water pump, thermostat, gaskets, oil pan gasket (Because I have to swapp the pans). Should I do the timeing chain? What else, and dont say performance she cant mod anything until she pays me back.
