CAMS!
Will these cams work for a daily driver or is this race only? Any estimates on power gain from these?

From what I was told, those are race only. They are way too aggressive for the stock ECU.

if you want to have your car programmed to idle at 1800+ rpm just to stay running

Matt C. (Scruffdog), if you want camshafts that you won't have any codes thrown and is good for daily driving, go to www.jbodyperformance.com and check out their Stage 1 camshafts for the ECOTEC. I have them, no codes, runs great.

Only problem you'll notice is that you will more than likely run rich. After that cams, invest in a fuel management system, example: an SAFC-2
