Stage one cams are in no need of changing anything else except a tune up after you intstall them, They are little bit deeper then secret cams but should drop right in.

by tune up you mean adjusting the air/fuel curve on the apexi afc?

Yeah they are just drop in like he said. I personally ran very rich from just adding cams and an SAFC-2 is very necessary to turn the fuel down. One of my best investments in gaining my power back.

thats interesting, my jbp stage 2 cams didnt need adjusting. I ran fine off the bat, maybe the stage 1s vs. stage 2s have a difference because of the duration.
What kind of gains were you seeing on these cams? stage 1 and 2... ?

stage 2 offers roughly 15 to 18 horsepower gains, coming from JBP.

i emailed jbp and they said they recommend their high rev lifters with the cams. and that the cams just drop in.
