i was looking into getting a turbo sport hood and i thought it would be good to get one of these if the make them for a 1999 http://chevyhiperformance.com/featuredvehicles/p112688_image_large.jpg im guess it is the air intake system but it is mounted in a different place. i want to know if they make the for 1999. how much the would be. how hard they are to install....ect. It's mounted there most likely because there is a turbo under that filter.

looks like the intake on gm's turbo eco. I don't think it is even available for the eco, let alone a 99z

You can tell that the vehicle had a hood scoop and was trying to take advantage of the extra air. It's custom made, no doubt.
