Hey there guys I was wondering if anyone has found a place online that sells custom bent pipes. I called around the local exhaust shops and asked about mandrel bent pipes and got a "What bent pipe?" I asked agian and got a "Ummm nope" from most of the places. Not really leavin me with the warm fuzzies I would like lol. Or if by the freak circumstance that anyone from the Binghamton NY area reads this if you know of a shop that does mandrel bending let me know.... Thanks guys.
Thanks for the article I read that one already.... I thought about buying the parts and having them welded didnt know if it would end up being any cheaper though.... gonna check the mantpart website and look at pricing. Seems to me like someone could make a small fortune making and selling full system bolt up kits...
We sell all the tubing you would need for this. If our website doesn't help:
http://www.rdfabs.com drop me an e-mail and I'll point you in the right direction.
Just get compression bends. It is custom, it is cheaper and you are not gonna notice that big of a difference between mandrel and compression until you get to some insane power levels.
for instance my 2.5" custom Cat back compression bent for mny turbo setup cost me $90 bucks. Got a Flowmaster 40 series for 70 bucks(i work at autozone gotta love 20% off). Then dropped 50 bucks on my tip. Sounds great performs well. i doubt mandrel would have gained me anything, but would have cost alot more.
I don't need no stinking SIG. Wait this is one.
DOH!
Thanks for the info guys I appreciate it... Ill start callin around agian...

yeah the only problem with that is that it is only a cat back system. I am looking to replace the header, all the piping, cat, muffler and add a resinator. I want to go with 2.5" i think. I have a pnp head w/ 3way valve job and wai and looking to get a lil more. Doesnt make sense to me to just replace the Cat back piping because its not flowing any better out of the head really is it?
if you replace the entire exhaust system (i.e. header, b pipe, catback, muffler) then you will be flowing better. If you do a PnP and a valve job then that adds to it.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
Yeah pnp and valve job are already done... that is why i want to get the exhaust done all the way back. Ebay seems to have some really cheap mufflers like less then $5 then $25 or $30 for shipping but... dont knwo if they are any good. also going to look for a long resonator and i am thinking 2.5" piping..... and more than likely just the pace setter painted header and ill repaint with hi temp when i get it
