i was considering this intake just because of the price, but if there's fitment issues i may have to pass, let us know how it works out, thanks
just drill a hole into the bracket below the power steering pump bolt that you tried to hook the intake onto. Thats what i did, if you drill out a hole and then attach the intake bracket to that it moves it down and away from the battery. I also had problems with hooking it directly to the power steering pump bolt by not being able to tighten the bolt all the way cause of the thick bracket on the intake. Hope this helps.

yea well its late at the moment but ill be sure to ghetto rig it somehow tomorrow. if im gonna have to zip tie this bitch on then thats what ill do.
it sounds like you are trying to mount it to the wrong spot. Sounds like you are trying to mount it too high.
Here is a pic of my RK intake and where/how it mounts and lines up. Hopefully this helps. The bracket needs to bolt to the lower, larger bolt.
ill try toying with it again, but also my rubber elbow is exactly that, one bend, very small. if i fail again ill post more pics.
thanks for the help everyone.

You can rotate the intake assembly downward so that the bracket lines up where it should. Just don't tighten the clamp on the rubber elbow until it is positioned right.
