I just timed my 04 sunfire with a g-tech. I am getting cosistant numbers but I don't know how good they are. I have an RSM crank pulley, AEM intake, ported throttle body, Poweraid throttle body spacer, high flow cat. and autotrans interceptor. Anyway here are my results:
141 hp
7.8 0-60
15.8 1/4 mile
A g-tech is useful for tuning purposes, to test one setup against another as they are consistant, but useless for getting hard #'s like 1/4 mile times and hp #'s. If you want to know your horsepower, go to a dyno, if you want 1/4 mile times, go to the track.
15.3 @ 89.97mph, 14's on the way?

Though a dyno would be more accurate, I do not have the funds or access to one. The g-tech delivered very consistant times and I was able to test on a nice level road.
What I really am looking for is feedback on those results, good, bad or indifferent.
get rid of the throttle body spacer unless ur running N2O.
this is my sig
im sure if you looked hard enough on the net you will find a dyno in your area
that 141 hp seems a little off.
RSM crank pulley adds maybe 2 or 3 hp.
AEM intake adds 5 at the most
ported throttle body some say 10 hp. some say 5 but lets say 7 for this convo
Poweraid throttle body spacer is garbage. adds nothing
high flow cat alone wont add anything. hope you at least have a 2.25 cat back
autotrans interceptor no power added. just stronger shifts
i say somewhere between 130 to 135 hp

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Go to a dyno and get an accurate reading. I can't wait to see what I am really pushing power wise. I am gessing that I will be around 145-155 hp after its tuned and everything.
I'll have a sig someday....................
Nissan for sale drop me a line!
I also have a g-tech. I found the 1/4 mile times were extremley accurate, but the horsepower was way off. After Running the g-tech on my old slow eclipse, it said 18.5. I went to the track and had 3 runs, were 2 of the times were 18.531 18.51 and the last was 18.497. It is good, but just for 1/4 mile time... thats it
Speed costs... How fast ya wanna go??
