it installing a 57mm throttle body onto a 97 2.4 difficult? What steps are involved? thanks

take the intake off, unplug connections on TB, remove TB, swap sesors to new TB, new gasket if needed, reinstall. VERY simple

forgot to ask if the butterfly sticks is it easy to fix?

can't give you an answer on the gains and it depends on why the throttle sticks, is there somethign actually wrong with it? alot of times a sticking butterfly can be fixed with cleaning the TB with some carb cleaner (with the sensor out to be careful) but some TB's have a special coating and are not ment to cleaned liek that, they almost have liek a tephlon kinda coating, the only thing I know 100% that has it though is some fords, not sure about for a cavi, I dought it though, especially since you said its a 57MM or whatever, not sure what factory size on your engine is but I'm asumming its an oversized TB you want to put in which means they would have machined off the coating anyway

only way to tell is to dyno before and after.

it is an oversized one. I'm not sure about this kind of mod that is why i ask. i was looking into boring theo ne I have but saw one for sale and was pondering buying it

make sure to reset everything, disconnect the battery for about an hour
