Or should i go a diffrent rout. I wanna do something performance. I allready have full exhaust...header to exhaust. i have pulleys, motor mounts, ground wire system, and some other little @!#$ like that... What do you think.

Finish collecting all the turbo supplies you need, 2 grand and you already have some of the stuff..finish it up! Once the turbo setup is done, get it installed (whether its you or a shop). You won't get through 2 grand with just that so spend the rest on building her up so you can crank up the boost!
Wow I wish I had that much to invest..good luck!

If you have another $2000 to spend, spend half on suspension (for $1000 you can have an awesome handling cav) and then spend the rest on finishing your boost project.

i agree pro kits/agx's with a rear bar and slap on control arm bushings and brake lines and pads. then he would have a solid base.
see ya!
I say finish your turbo kit...it gets very difficult to try and do 2 projects at one time. My belief with modifying is to finish one thing and then go to the next thing. It's better to have 1 finished project than 2 incomplete in my opinion.

Get a LSD and finish off your turbo project.

Totally tubular, dude!

i think im gonna go turbo route. How much would a shop charge to install...and do they tune it....also...show i replace all vacume lines???
It depends on the kind of shop it is. If it's a performance shop that regularly does FI systems and turbo installs then I'd guess around 7-800; I, personally, wouldn't pay more than that. I suggest just doing it yourself if you have the time. Its a great learning experience and you'll understand boost alot more.
For tuning it all depends on what you have to tune with (i.e. wideband, standalone, etc.). A performance shop would be able to do it but I'd see what you can do before you give them your money. Do what you can and then bring it to the shop and have them dyno tune it.
I didn't replace my vacuum lines when I boosted, I don't see why one should. Maybe someone else can answer this better than I can.

Don't pay a shop to install a turbo kit on your car. Do it yourself.

Try a post in the regional forum for anyone willing to help, unless that's considered cross-posting (don't see how, though; it's a different subject for a post).

ok, thanks everyone for your input....and this thread can now be closed.
I will keep everyone posted on the install as soon as it starts.
