97 2.4l have and pacesetter 4-1 header, 2.25 cat and borla exhaust. was thinking about putting a 25in' resonator on it. i know it will quiet it but how quiet. i mean i still want it to be loud when im at higher speeds and when im getting on it. will i be able to hear it good and will it be too quiet?

Just a friendly tip for next time, post in your thread asking "Anyone else?" or something to that effect to bump it back up. If it goes off the page, revive it by going into your account, clicking on "Forum Posts" and posting in it again. For future posts, try clarifying to the posters that that's not what you're looking for. Chances are they will attempt to give you the answer you're looking for if you simply ask.

Also, Abe (Spotabee Racing) and I answered your question. We said that a 25" resonator should be just fine for your application. You won't hear it down the street and it'll be fairly quiet.

Another note: if you want it to be as quiet as possible, purchase the largest resonator that can fit. I'm pretty sure Event has a 31" resonator but I don't know if he did some extra cutting and welding for that to fit.

Slight correction (no edit button, sorry): it will be quiet with the 25" resonator. How quiet? Quite quiet. Buy a smaller resonator (like an 18"); if its too loud then buy a larger resonator and sell the smaller one.

It all depends on what you're looking for and what your preferences are. What is loud and annoying to me may be quiet and smooth to you.
