What would i need to do to make a 1999 cavalier head (2200 engine) fit on a 1998 2200? I can get a built head from someone but his is a 99, and i know they changed something in 99 with the head or something. Phlatcav said i would need to get rid of my EGR lines or something. What else do ppl say?
listen to Phlatcav he knows what he's talking about
lol the EGR is probably the only difference
^^^^^so from reading from that, it sounds like it should just be a direct replacement correct?

i thought from 98-02 the 2200 sfi's are the same
same motor, just had a few diff things on the 98 like erg and the type of injectors that were used.
EGR is the only real difference to worry about. and i'm an idiot and i have no idea whethere swapping the head will affect the EGR on the 2200 because the coil packs are where the EGR is on my 95 2.2
