Howdy there!

I have the Pacesetter cat-back on my 99 Z24. The price is sweet, I got mine for $190 brand new. However, this is the worst system I've ever seen. I've said it before about this exhaust: You get what you pay for! Aim higher! That does mean you will pay higher, but at least it's worth it. I am fed up with the cat-back. I hear the header is pretty sweet though, so good choice!

As far as the RSM racing cat-back goes, I'm not sure if you'll have any luck finding someone here who has it. Referring to their site, the piping for both cat-backs is 2.5". If you are N/A (no turbo or supercharger or nitrous) then 2.25" is the only way to go for best performance. They may be able to hook you up with 2.25", but you'd have to ask them personally about that. Honestly, I'm not impressed with anything RSM does. Or the horror stories I hear about them all the time.

Look into Magnaflow, Vibrant, Thermal, or maybe even RK Sport but many don't like their sound.

Yeah, the ps catback is junk, the header is a different story tho. I have the rk single catback and love it. It does need a resonator tho, which I also have. It will be cheaper to have a shop build you one tho, although with the premade ones, you can install it.

Just get one custom fabricated. Most likely it will sound better and it will definately be cheaper.

I had a shop mendrel bend the exhaust I have now, and I used a Magnaflow universal muffler that looks like factory, with a tip I got from the parts store. Best $200.00 I've spent so far.

^^^I just installed my Megan Racing system tonight. It sounds amazing for not having a resonator. Fits like the stock exhaust did too, which is a big plus.

Custom catback is cheapest and my recommendation

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

About the PS CatBack--the muffler is the crappiest part, so if you can drop that without too much extra expense, do it! With a universal muffler, or something similar, you can overcome Pacesetters shortcomings easily. (PS--The Monza exhaust tip is pretty nifty, though, so chop it and sell it if you can. What makes the PS Better than the OEM muffler is negligible anyway.)
