lower motor mount

I have a 2.4 lower motor mount with yellow bushings. I bought the mount used and am trying to figure out which mount I have and how the bushings compare to those in the new prothane mounts. Any opinions?

Well, you asked which mount you have yet the thread is about the lower one?? The lower one will look like a bone. The upper one for you is an insert.

Your profile states:

RK lower engine mount
RK upper engine mount insert

The RK one is just as good at the Prothane.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I know its the lower mount, but I believe RK used 2 different bushings over time, there were Mark Pain bushings...etc. I can't remember which mounts had the yellow bushings.

I called it an RK lower mount in my profile because I thought it sounded better than unidentified lower mount.

I have read that the ones with the yellow bushings were a softer bushing... which would kinda make changing mounts pointless wouldn't it? lol

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

i think i'd rather have a softer (yet still stiffer than stock) motor mount. mine drove me nuts until i took it out.

GO PATS!!!

I've got it as well. Been quite happy with it over the years.
