If I have a 2000 Z24 does it have egr?
The reason i am asking is i want to do the ho intake manifold and am wondering if i have to buy the block off plate or hookup the egr (instructions???).

step one..... open hood. step two....... look for egr (hint, you dont have one, cause it was eliminated after 98)

Yup. 98 was the last year of EGR. Some people have tried to say that some of the early 99s had EGR, but there has never been anything resembling proof.

I have the EGR simulator from ZZ Performance. In their catalog, it's for the Pontiac Grand Prix. I know Skilz10179 is using it on his Z24 and others have used it without issues on their 2.2's. Some people claim to have issues with it, but most people say it works like a charm.
