I was looking on JBP for piston rings and all they have are the Total Seal Gapless rings. they are $325 n they sound good but are they really worth it? how much better are they then just some replacement ones? im getting forged pistons n rods from flatlander racing and they said i could just get a replacement kit for 79 bux. should i invest in the Total Seals or would it make much of a difference?

for around the same price you could have custom venola pistons... with rings.

i was gonna get a kit from flatlander for the WiseCo pistons pins and eagle rods for 725 plus 79 for the rings is this good or would it be cheaper to get the venolas? do they have a kit for pistons and rods? also how much are the venolas and will they know what to make cuz i dont know anything about what is required to get the pistons made WiseCo already knows so would that just be easier or no?

just go with some standard fit moly rings, no need for anything better unless your going to build a crazy engine...
