humming around turns?

when im on the highway on go round a turn, even a slight turn(the sharper the turn the louder the noise) i hear a humming/whistling sound coming from either my windshild vent engine bay. any thoughts?

probably your power steering pump, I've got the same sound going on with my car right now too.

I dont know really what kind of humming you are talking about. Could be 3 things.....probably low on power steering fluid tho. that is number one. other 2, probably not by your discription, but humming around a corner on a more serious note points me towards the tires or wheel bearing. But, check your powersteering fluid first and foremost

yeah i know your description dosnt sound like it but check your wheel bearings out... just in case.

Does it make the noise when you're sitting still, engine running, and turn the wheel side to side? I work at an auto shop as an apprentice technician.


Some times the best way to get that tailgater off your but is to light a fart.

nope only when going around turns on the highway
