I would like to move my rev limiter to 7000, is tech 2 the easiest or only way to do it?
Now I haven't gotten into building up my motor, but what would you gain by increasing the rev limiter to 7 grand? Max power is like 6000-6200 rpm, anything after that is just a waste. Unless you have major build plans with new cams, valve train, etc, that raise the max power point beyond the stock rev limit.
^ ^ ^ Is right. Our engines are done makeing any power past 6000 RPM.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Yeah you need at least a tech 4.

Just watch out if someone's trying to sell you a tek-9... you might not want to do business with them.
You have a 2.2 non eco right? You will need a really good topend to spin and make power past 6000rpm.
