Yea so I installed the WAI today on my 99 cavy. However retarded me forgot to put in the air sensor..Driving to work It didn't throw any codes at me..Driving home from work check engine light came on and thats when I realized what I forgot..I installed the sensor started up the car and its still there..Talked to a friend and he said that it takes about three startups of about 15 minutes for the ecu to recognize and solve..Is that true/Can I just disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and hook it back up?...

Yeah, disconnect the battery, then drive around for a while if it doesn't go away, it'll go away with some highway cruises.

I just disconect the battery for a few hours then its gone completly like it never happend.

to speed up the reset, unhook the battery and press the brake pedal for 2 minutes or so.
