i got a 32 gal fuel cell, but its made for oval track race cars, and doesnt have a sending unit, etc. i was wondering if i could get this universal sending unit, and wire it up to a better, higher quality fuel gauge?

i'd like to have a fuel gauge, and if this would work, this is the route i'd like to take




ok this is for my truck, i admit, but i need to know asap if this will work, please let this stay at least long enough for me to get an answer.
