I need any imformation on this swap to fix my granddaughter's '91 Sunbird. I have a '94 coupe with a real good MPFI 2.0.
Can I just swap engines or do I need to do more?

Yes, you can swap engines.
Yes, you can do more.
If you use the TBI on the PFI engine you will have the easiest swap. You'll probably want to increase fuel pressure about 3-4 psi since the pfi cam is larger. You'll need to remove the plate at the end of the head and install the distributor from the tbi engine. The pfi ignition module and crank sensor won't be used. Check all brackets, hoses, & etcetera bacause there are some differences between the two engines. I've helped a friend do this and the pfi engine felt much better even with tbi than the old engine.
If you choose to keep the pfi configuration the most reliable way to do the swap will be to get all the pieces you need from the pfi car to install the engine in the tbi car. Anything that's different in the TBI car... replace it with the same part from the pfi car. There's a bunch of 'em so look carefully and plan your attack before choosing to accept that battle.
