^^Yup, true if you have a 2.2L,, but since you got a 2200 then it will fit your car.

okay. so if i have a 2002 cavalier 2200, the 95-97 2.2L header will fit correctly?

the main section of the header is the same on the 70-1275 and 70-1276

the ports fit fine with both heads , the 98-02 is smaller port

the big thing is the extensions are different between the 2 headers , the 95-97 have a flange just before the cat

the 98-02 the pipe is welded to the cat

so to use the 95-97 header on your 02 , you will need to have some fabrication work where the pipe would attach to the cat

any advice? how hard is it. in your opinion, should i just find a 2002 header?
