End Of Production Update:2.3-2.4 HO Adapter Flange
Wednesday, April 26, 2006 7:45 PM
I just wanted to let everyone know that I do not think I will be making the HO adapter flanges any more. Due to rising costs of Phenolic Material and any plastic material I am simply not making enough money on each flange to cover cost time and overhead.

I started this small business venture a little over a year ago and really enjoyed helping people out and making a product no one had out or readily available. I have sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-70 flanges to date and had good experiences with them. I enjoyed meeting new people and the customer aspect of it but I dont think I can continue.

I am currently running a GP on them of the last 11 I am having made if anyone wants one Right Here. The main problem is the high overhead cost involved, having to shell out 600$ minimum order is a kinda expensive gamble. So now that sales are dwindleing down I think it is time for me to duck out of this. Just like Mark Paine had to with his bushing it was fun but simply not enough sales.

However, if there is a rising demand for them I would consider doing another GP if this one is successful, the problem is selling them all individually has my money tied up for a long time.

Anyways wanted to say thanks to the people of the JBO for the support and sales over the past year, it was fun hopefully it will continue.

Thanks Everyone!

Chris

No doubt the prices are going up and I can see your concern. I also purchased one of your flanges and have had no issues with leakage or fitment. I thank you for your creativity and willingness to produce a usefull and quality product. Good luck with your future endeavours!

Damn you..... lol I just so happen to NOT have any money at this moment....... I understand the increase in material and labor...... the same thing is going on with the T/G LSD's..... $100 increase for the same order I placed 5 months ago (reason to why I'm short on cash.... lol) Just looks like we'll have to increase the customer's cost, to compensate our cost.

No I will not increse cost, I started out at 55$, now at 62, I kinda feel bad but I am doing what I can. However Brian if you still want to I will reserve them for you.
