2200 2.3 ho swap
Monday, May 01, 2006 2:35 PM
I am going to be doing this swap when I get back form deployment and need to know some things that aren't mentioned that I can see in any write ups. What size t-connector is needed for this?

When you get back from deployment you can take the TB to a parts store, eyeball it while standing next to the rack of vacuum hoses and have a match in less than 30 seconds.

At least this time you're being civil...

Well if you would read I said t-connector but thats ok you never read you jsut make your dumbass posts tring to rag on people cause your the high and mighty jimmyz. But as I was asking does anyone know what size the t-connector is for this swap. I would like to get it now because I plan on swapping and driving back to dego asap after I get done. I have done searches but came up with nothing.

It becomes more and more obvious every time you post why nobody here likes you. First, let's consider the fact that in 99% of the parts stores in this country vacuum hoses and fittings are in the same place in the store. I know that's a difficult concept to fathom but I "assumed" you might make that connection. Second, I'll tell you the same thing I tell people who bump for sale posts in the regional forums..."this is an active forum. if nobody replies, nobody is interested". In this case, if nobody replies, then odds are nobody knows. Or who knows, in your case maybe they decided you don't deserve their help because you're an ungrateful bastard who wants everyone to hand everything to him...as evidenced by your last post.

Since the post got moved pretty quickly after you GOT BANNED FOR MAKING IT, I'll recap the highlights here for everyone...

The thread was titled "@!#$ jbo pieces of @!#$" and in it you said you "needed to get everyone's attention" since "nobody replied to your last post". From the responses it seems I'm not the only one that thinks like I do...(names deleted)

that was from your other thread. ever think that nobody knows the answer?
or maybe did it ever cross your mind to do a search for members who have done this swap and ask them?
Quote:

why is it so important? You can't do the swap while you are overseas, there is no shortage of vacuum lines... if someone else is doing the swap for you, make them take out the TB and buy some lines for al of $3.
I doubt anybody is going to know what the size is off hand. I have a 2.3 TB on my turbo sunbird and it has two or three small ports and then one larger (1/2"-3/4") port on it.. I don't feel like going and measuring it.

what a douche....
If we're all "pieces of @!#$" here because we can't answer a question for you that a 5 year old could figure out in 2 minutes in a parts store, then go ask your questions elsewhere. Your attitude, arrogance and stupidity won't be missed here.

does that mean you have to follow up on all his posts and rag on him?? i dont know the answer to what hes asking, and it may have gotten a better answer in the newbie forum...but it was also harmless, and just because he made a bad post before doesnt mean "nobody likes him" ..cus lets face it..alot of people probably aren't fond of you either.

When he's gonna call me out for giving him the same answer everyone else did (the RIGHT answer, btw), you're DAMN right I'm gonna call a spade a spade...he's an arrogant, worthless forum troll who comes here starting trouble one day, then expects everyone to cater to his every whim when he's got a question and when nobody does he calls us all pieces of @!#$ and says Dave should shut down the site.

So yeah...screw him and his questions.

Nah he and others come into everyone of my posts and just start @!#$. He could ahve jsut locked the other oen and left it at banning me but no he had to come back in here and start more @!#$. Some people on here jsut like to start @!#$ with people they don't like. They are the reasons that I only come on here to ask questions when I can't find and answer anywhere else. Yes I was wrong to get pissed but 5 months at sea @!#$ with your head and you get irratated very easy. But oh well whats done is done but thansk for sticking up for me and also newbies forum is for newbies I have been on this site for about 6 years now.

Well every place i have gone to around my house didn't have the right size t-connecters so yeah I came on here to ask. If I would have found one there would have been no posts about it. But im sure you would think I didn't even bother looking at all before I left. So @!#$ what if people on here don't like me. If you don't like me stay the @!#$ out of my posts. All you are being now is an attention whore and sinking down to my troll level and being a worthless piece of @!#$. Also I have tried to contact peole that have done this before but the email on the ship out here doesn't always work so I miss a lot of emails.

Blue Cav wrote:i just went and got my 2.3 tb what hose a u talking about need to be connected when i looked at it it looks like everything matches up

The tb matches up fine the hoses plug in fine but I know there is either 2 spots for a vacuum line on the tb and one line form the engine or there are 2 form the engine and one on the tb. I haven't seen the tb or car in almsot a year so it's a little fuzzy on which is which.
