Ive read that if you wanted to put a W41 quad engine in to my 95 cavalier, that had a 2.3, that you have to do minor mods on electrical sytstem, anyone know what is all involved??

no mods, just chip it and use the W41 oil pump, cant be any more simple than that.

BTW if you have an auto you are screwed. just thought I'd share that. that requires a lot more work to make happen

good, you are manual, never mind the auto thing then. the W41 is only different from the HO in the Cams. they are identical in every other way. So, you can save some money and get a HO and swap the cams for the same performance.

A much as I hate saying this, Check Mantapart for you chip.

Go to quad4forums and get onto the TRS site to get the better cams.

Of course, if you already have the W41, why isn't it in yet.

I'll have to correct you. It's not the OIL PUMP but the Power steering pump that you have to use.

yea..make sure you use that powersteering pump..and you have to use the 95 alternator..umm to be honest best way is to just have both engines sitting beside each other when you go to swap it ...and make sure all the electronics under the IDI cover are stock electronics...dont use the older ones

I should have a W41 bin off of a mantapart chip here soon, if your interested in tuning and flash.

Let me know, I can get you setup with a flashed memcal pretty inexpensively, something you can tune.
