can i use a 2.4 header on my 2.3 would i just have to change the flanges or would there be more to it
no it won't fit. If you want something that flow better, get yourself a 90-92 Ho exhaust manifold.

IDK about all the details, but if you have a header that fits you car, but not the motor and the tubing isnt too far off, J-Tuners has a stainless steel header flange. You can cut the flange off the header you have and weld it to the new flange. Just make sere the tubing is shaped to the port, with no obstructions to the flow.

Don't do it. Useless. The header you can get for the 2.4 have smaller primary runner than a STOCK 90-92 2.3 Ho exhaust manifold. Find a stock Ho exhaust manifold and swap it.

i agree with them..manifold is better than the 2.4 header
ok u find me one i can't that's the reson for the 2.4 header.unless scott finishes the 2.3 headers

but you have to realize no one really takes cavs seriously so its been hard even FINDING someone who agreed to make one..now i have to stay on his butt..i havnt forgotten you guys dont worry
i know i called some shops to make a 2.3 header and no one wants to do it.thats why i was just going to use a 2.4 header and weld a 2.3 flange on it.if u get it done i want to be the first one to buy one.
oh it WILL be done..if you check my registry youll see my new engine..and i REFUSE to put that engine IN my car without a header...ill have a post up with pics as soon as i have it IN the car....
as far as the 2.4 header others have tried the flange change...didnt turn out too well
