K&N Drop in vs K&N Typhoon air inake

I currently have a k&n drop in on my 04 cav. I was thinking of upgrading to the typhoon air intake that they have but was wondering if I go to the typhoon, will I be bringing in too much warm air from the engine vs the stock air box where it is a little cooler air. Also, I am thinking of more HP with the typhoon. Right now if i am getting 1 extra horse with the drop in thats not enough for me. Let me know what you guys think.

go for it the air in the bay isn't that much hotter than that outside due to the high amounts of air flowing through. So therefore the increase in surface area exposed to air will give you a quicker throttle response and a bit more HP. this will also probably give you a throatier engine sound aswell
