using 10w40 Royal Puple (synthetic) in a N/A LD9

I just poured in 4 and a half liters of royal purple synthetic 10w40 into my car, since I had a box laying around. Im wandering whether or not this is ok for the motor or is too viscous.

Specifically, will my oil pressure suffer?

no, its alittle thicker oil, than 5w30 but that wont hurt anything. i always run 10w30 synthetic in my LD9's...

doesnt pay to use cheap oil.

No it's fine, there is only one thing with running it though you will have to stay with synthetic unless you were running synthetic all the time anyways. I use 10w30 royal purple all the time and I like it.

the 40 weight oil may be too thick, the motor does have some close tolerances, i use 5w30 Mobil 1 Personally, and love it. Not sure if using Royal Purple would do much more for me.
