so i had an idea, my lil 2.2 goin by by, and the grand am gt, the V^6 going in, mated with a 5 spd... what are the chances? anyone look into it? i know the sunfire gt has the 2.4, and the grand am se has the 2.4 also, i see it as a common spot between the 2 cars, so i belive with some mods, it will work fairly well. let me know what ya think, i think this could be fun, and very very rewarding if a success

Run a search in the third gen forum for 3800

It can be done, just kind of pricy.

The 3.8 sc came in Automatic cars. For the most part.

The 3400 will fit with little modification to the mounts. But your still gonna have to figure out the harness.

There was more then one motor in the grand am gt. 3300,3100, and 3400. But they all should fit.
