ok so a while ago i had the delusion of grandure of swapping a 3800 s/c into my cavi its a possibility but far from what i can do, in the time. I just wanted some input on other motor swaps, what will work, experience level needed to do the swap. and if i should just rerebuild my LD9 and put more work into it
if helen keller fell in the woods would anyone hear her?
In my opinion you cant go wrong with rebuilding your LD9 or doing an Eco swap. With your LD9 the right setup could put down some serious power. Like Speedracer I think it is put down almost 200whp with a built motor on the stock exhuast. After turbo or whatever else he plans the sky is the limit with the engine. Just about the same for the Eco powerplant, but with the eco if something breaks down it will be cheaper to fix since the engine is still being used in GM's.
In the planning stage for an all American TRD Cavalier.
well i have been tossing the idea of rerebuilding my LD9 and either s/c or turbo, but i still woild love that 3800 s/c or now even a 3400 swap i really need input, but i did have an idea while going through some other posts, why couldnt one of the people who have done the v6 swap in a third gen make a sticky of how to do it, or even all the @!#$ you will need cuz i have seen so many people asking how to( myself included), just a suggestion though
