USE THE SEARCH BUTTON NEXT TIME! But I'm such a nice guy I'll tell you a few. Starting off get an WAI or CAI if you do not know what those me look them up with THE SEARCH BUTTON!!! Then go to your local exhaust shop and have them make you a 2.25" cat-back exhaust, high flow cat, header, upper and lower motor mounts. That is a good start. Use the SEARCH BUTTON to find out what good websites to visit and good companies to buy from.

Check the sticky at the top of the performance forum. Intake, exhaust (header, cat, cat-back system), short shifter (not a HP mod but does affect your 1/4 times and makes driving a lot more fun).

Before you get flamed by everyone that follows, I see that you just joined today. Before you go asking questions, read the site and search first. If you go to the performance forum and type 'first mods,' you get about a million posts with answers. I read the recent posts column 5 or more times daily, and do several different searches for every one of my questions, hence why I don't post much. I don't need to because there is so much information already out there. Just trying to help u out a little.

Sorry I should have been more specific...the sticky I was talking about is the one called 'Performance FAQ.' And yeah, what he said. Motor mounts are a great buy too, and are a must if you don't want to crack your shiny new header from the motor moving.

most start with an intake. they come with instructions, some do anyway. even if they dont, its easy to install, all you need is a screwdriver, wrench, and some brains. cost is anywhere from $40 to $200 for intake

Plan A

1) Intake - see 99redz24
2) Exhaust - $900 to $1200 (for all components depending what you get)
3) Boost (turbo or sc) - around $2500 (some guys part turbos together much cheaper I hear)

Plan B

1) Intake - see 99redz24
2) Exhaust - $900 to $1200 (for all components depending what you get)
3) Engine Internals (lighter components, higher compression & others) - Not real sure but should be more that slapping a turbo on

prices for new parts...later...

$900-$1200 for exhaust ?
i guess maybe if you get the most expensive stuff on the market...but you can do just as good for half or less of that price

LOL

$900 for an exhuast??? you can get a header, cat, resonator, muffler and have an exhaust shop bend you the pipe you need and weld it together for less than that.
