IAT Sensor question (install)
Tuesday, December 26, 2006 7:07 PM
So i was installing my intake and the wires to the back of the IAT sensor came out.. i tried putting them back into the back of the sensor and it worked for a while but then the CEL came back on. How do you go abouts installing one of these? Should i buy a new one or is there a way i can get the wires back into the back of the sensor? thanks

wow thats quite the cowincabince. Same thing happend to be last month installin my intake, i pulled to hard and the wires came out of the plug that goes into the sensor. I just rigged them back in and then tonight the CEL came back on from it. Your basicly goin to have to go to a junk yard and cut the plug off another car and wire it on. I checked AAP and AZ and neither of them got get the plug in.

Well you could just cut them, The twist them together then solder them together add some heat wrap to the wiring then it should be good to go.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
