As the title states I'm lookin at new mufflers for my catback system.I want to get rid of the megan racing canister muffler. I want some exhaust sound. Just not crazy loud but enough to hear it when under acceleration, I looked into a borla turbo or pro xs muffer and well 2 words, screw that

im getting the dynomax ss muffler installed tomorrow, 1 muffler with duals. I'll post up a sound clip maybe.

Has alot of low deep tone and isn't abnoxious.

Nity9CavSedanCRJ are you mufflers 2.5" or 2.25"? I was looking at those mufflers but I want 2.5" or larger and the magnaflow website only sells 2.25 in the street series mufflers.
Does anyone know how loud the Race series mufflers are? I was looking at the 14834, 5" x 8" Oval Race Series. My rebuild will have a full 2.75" or 3" exhaust so the bigger muffler would be nice.

i had a magnaflow sounded good BUT even though it was only half as loud as most fart can u hear on the streets it was still too loud and got anoying really fast. so i went back to stock muffler. id say go with a flowmaster 60

I would like to hear a superturbo on a 2.2 with 2.25 piping non resonated. that would help me out some.

They are 2.25" inlet with a 2.5" core stock. However, we use a press and made it 2.5" since we have the tools available to play and make w/e we want.
i can try and get a clip of my exhaust on thursday. thats the soonest i can. i think its perfect. gives a great sound. im just trying to find the right tip for my car now. its hard. lol.

Rk Sport "magnaflow" single catback does anyone here have any pics of it on their 00-02 cavalier? Also how is the sound of it. I didnt see any on the "official exhaust sound thread".

i have a dynomax superturbo! i love how it sounds.. Only draw back is that you have to let it warm up a bit before your really can hear the sound. Other then that i love it
I think that I am just gonna get a super turbo and be done with it .

sorry that i didnt post anything up, the exhaust shop backed out on me saying they do mandrel bends but they dont have a welder they said, so i call back a week later and theys till dont have anything so i guess im sh!t outta luck.
yea that sucks I know it's a lil bit of a travel but have you check out bear muffler in delaware? I've also decided that I'm just gonna go with the super turbo and do a dynomax glasspack.

haha I had a super turbo on it with the stock piping and also had them when I ran duals on my 92 Cav with a 2.2

Decided that for now I'm putting on a Dynomax super turbo #WLK-17731 and prolly just gonna get them to make me up a new axle back to get rid of the piping from the megan racing. I also decided that i'm gonna go with a style tip like this.
