New Header

I was reading previous posts on header installation. Many suggest getting performance engine mounts, but I hear a lot of people complaining about the vibration that comes from these. Will I be safe getting a piece of flexpipe? Also, would anyone suggest getting a new gasket for the header, or will their replacement (pacesetter) be good? Thanks.

If you wanna get mounts Id go with a TTR upper cause people have felt less vibrations with it than the rksport upper. Also theres a gp goin on for it so you can save like $30. Then go with an rksport lower mount.

i have the RK upper mount on my 04...havent noticed many bad vibes...however i took off the RK lower and went back to stock...it caused too many vibes (for my taste) when i had the AC on...whick is ever time i get in the car for about 5-6 months here in central Florida. if i lived somewhere where i little or never used to AC id have left it in place.

I have the motor mounts and a flex joint. I recommend NOT doing the flex joint. It will allow the exhaust to sag, and adds a little rasp to the sound. As for the gasket, I do not like the one that comes with the header, and have always used the stock one. The stock one is a good gasket as long as it is not messed up.

I'm thinking about buying the TTR upper mount and either the TTR or RK lower. I'll stick with the stock gasket as well. Thanks.

Considering TTR does not make a lower mount, it may be difficult to buy. haha thanks for the info.
