ok, im looking at a couple magnaflow mufflers. both are round case mufflers. one is 22" body length, 4" body thickness. the other is 18" body length, 5" body thickness. i realize neither will be "quiet" but which one will be qiueter? or both about the same?

well...1st i woulnd expect Magnaflow to answer a question like that. I havnet had much success with asking companies about thier cheaper parts. if i was asking about a $650 exhaust system id figure on a responce, but a $50 muffler...id be suprised to get an answer. ALSO, there are a very few people on here who have some real knowledge and experience and can be a good source of information.

dude listen to skilz who has the most accurate info on a product then the company? They want your business no matter how small, this time maybe you buy a 50 dollar muffler maybe on your next car you buy a 5 or 6 hundred dollar cat back. Call magnaflow I have their catback and they helped me out.

ok, so i emailed magnaflow with my question and part numbers. i got a responce back within minutes. it was an auto responce email...listing answers to thier FAQ, which didnt help me at all. however way down at the bottom it gave a different email address for more specific questions, so ill try that, or maybe just call them.
