does anyone know what size inlet breather should be used on an ecotec?

do you mean those mini K&N style filters people use on the crankcase vent? i think they are 5/8 inch. however there are some on here who will flame you for even asking about those, so be ready.

all the power u gain from one of those is basically because your by-passing the PCV valve and part of the emissions system. so its not so much that your just going to get flammed on here, but your going to get a ticket if the cops see that. air breathers are illeagal on just about every road, but check your state and provincial laws.

Well if you want to get get technical, all adjustments made to the car, can be classified as illegal. From exhaust modifications, suspension modifications, window tinting, . . .

And if we were to follow the "GOLDEN BOOK", this site would not be here

All i got from an air breather was an oily mess (on an LN2, but still) -- Just had it on there till I got my oil catch can, which i recommend over a breather any day. -- looks cooler too i think, the can does

Lanman31337 -F = fatties = do not want. A little chunk in the junk is ok though.
