Hello, rk sport says that it fits 2.2L OHV 1995 + engines, but will fit the 1992 2.2L too right? And is there any other plate or adapter needed?. Thanks a lot.

Sidney

Its about a half quart extra. I wouldn't bother with it, I didn't really see any results with it.

^^ According to my sources Sidney: Yes, it will bolt-up. No other parts needed (except maybe a shorter filter for clearance).

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

do the 2.4 or 2.2 run hot is this needed?

are 2.4 known to burn some oil?

No to the above questions.
But to have an oil cooler is not a bad thing either.
Keeping oil cooler is actually good for the engine as it relieves the cooling system of some of it's duty.
Plus, the extra oil that is used with the oil coolers is also good. More oil equals oil that will last a bit longer than the normal 4 quarts our cars use.
Overall an oil cooler is a good thing.
It won't improve performance but may increase the life of your engine .
