i got my gauge installed...Tapped it into the hard line....says im at about 35 psi at idle....that seems kinda low...any input?

im on venom rail and Accel FPR with 310cc injectors...stock motor for now

Taught it should be around 40psi, but I can not remember exactly.

well im well it was at 40 and i heard sumwhere that that was high.....so i turned it down to 35...car seems to run alright....at high r's it backfires a little but other than that it seems fine....but i mean if its supposed to be 40 ill turn it back up no problem

43 psi is stock fuel pressure, but you have larger injectors, which means a larger pressure drop.


24 lb/hr * 43psi = 30 lb/hr * X psi

x= 34.4 psi


Running 35psi should be fine (I run mine at 36 psi), but if you go with too low of fuel pressure, IIRC the fuel won't atomize correctly and you will start to get backfiring.

Great to kno thanx.....and i think im right above 35psi too...like 37ish....when i rev it jumps to about 40 ish
