Which feels more lightweight?

A lightweight flywheel, or lightweight pullies? Just wondering which scenario those of you have done these modifications have felt the most difference.

Was it a drastic difference?

lightweight pulleys are bs

you ever hold your pulley? what does it weigh, maybe 2lbs? whats the diameter 5" at the most? such a small dia wouldn't make much difference with less weight. Underdriving is a different story..

a lightweight flywheel is pretty sweet, and the larger diameter that the weight is spread over means a substantial reduction in weight will make a much bigger difference.

sorry pj... but i beg to differ...

my stock LD9 pulley weighed like 4-5 lbs... and i even had a 2.3 ho pulley on mine for awhile, i put an rsm underdrive on the car and the weight dropped like 3.5 lbs... my new pulley weighs next to nothing. idc what u do to your car, even one pound of the rotating assembly will help. it may not help very much, and def. not going to help as much as an aluminum flywheel, but they do help some.

I agree the flywheel is the one you will see the biggest difference in. I dropped 8 pounds with mine, compared to 4.5 pounds on a pulley. The stock LD9 pulley weights around 6pounds.

flywheel not only in weight but engine performance as well.

a lightweight pulley is more of a helper mod. it goes well along with other things (intake, bigger tb, exhaust etc etc). but by itself i dont think its worth it.
but a lightweight pulley and a lightweight flywheel together would be nice too

Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

I'm kinda with z yaaaa, I put an aluminum supercharger pulley on and it really did make a difference in how the car felt.

Thanks for the input guys.
