its a 1999 2.2, but I am just looking for something stable that wont ever break on me again. I dont want to go ridicolous with money just for the mounts but i dont want no $hit on my car either

I just paid $250 to get my 2 1/4 cat, 2 1/4 mid pipe with sensor mount, and 2 1/2 inch resonator done. I too was finishing up my catback which is 2 1/4.

I didnt do a header, or modify the exhaust manifold.

I dont know what the engine mounts will cost.

Wait for a cat back and what reason will you need a new header, mount and resonator.

I've had a cat back on both cars that I've had at some point and never needed those.I think your garage is trying to take you for a nice chunk of change!

Every aftermarket motor mount will recomend install with the exhaust header off, why? The header is very fragile and mounted in a stable way. When you install the engine mount, you may move and put stress on the header causing it to break. Joe said he needs a new engine mount. What probably happened is when the engine mounts wore they put stress on his header causing it to break.

Joe what ever you do, install the engine mounts first. If not, then you probably will break yet another header.

depending on your car, you can get a combo upper and lower mounts for $150-$200
Make sure you get the actuall mount, a upper mount insert is designed to support the stock mounts, in your case won't help much.

Aftermarket resonators can be bought used on ebay for probably like $50 minus shipping.
If your running a stock muffler, then i wouldn't even worry about fixing the broken one.
resonators are for comfort, it may make your car just a little louder.

I need the pipe that goes from the left end all the way to the cat converter. Is there any aftermarket ones I can buy or get one cheaper because I really dont wanna drop 300 on that piece. Any other parts or modifications to help me get this fixed would be great.
