right now i have a 2.2. with 121k . I have always wanted to do a 2.4 swap and figured with the miles getting a little high on the 2.2 i should start looking into my options. I figured if i could find a 2.4 that is already built it would speed the process up. I would be looking to spend between 2-4k on it, depending on the specs.
Check with Pace Performance, Scoggin Dickey or any GM dealer they sell GM remanufactored 2.4 engines for around $2400 + shipping.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
