yepp. unless you have a wideband its supposed to do that. there only good to tell u if something is wrong with your car. thats it. other than that they dont read the most acurate.

You bought a glorified voltmeter...Companies get off on screwing those who aren't aware of this. They make bank in the same way AEM does with their flashy intakes. If it isn't a wideband, it's trash.

So then why do they even have a gauge like this if all it does is flash all the time and not give oput a proper reading? also I gforgot to mention I wired mine into the purple wire to the o2 sensor on the manifold. dunno if it makes a difference at all or not.

It DOES help in certain cases. Its not like its bouncing all around because it WANTS to. I agree that its inaccurate to the degree that you DONT know EXACTLY what your a/f ratio is. However It is a good place to look if something is fishy with the car. Example the other day i was having issues, which was my fuel filter, the car would bog and cut out and lose power. every time it did it it went extremely lean.

If you whomp on the gas, itll peg rich.

I have one, but its a dial type, not lights. And its helped me out a few times. I wouldnt use it to tune the car or anything, just for reference.

To the people that say its trash, its really not trash, its just a monkey compared to a human when its placed next to a wideband.

But yes if youre car is running correctly, it should be bouncing back and forth.

its to make money off of people who look at it and go "Oh purdy lights"
if you want to monitor your A/F get a wideband 02 sensor and gauge

but i don't have any tuner on it so a wide band wouldn't really do me much good would it?

If it was me, I wouldnt get a wideband unless youre going to run n2o, or boost, or have a LOT of mods done to the motor and you are going to use it for tuning.

Otherwise Id spend the money on something else.

i have a 3 gauge pod so i might just get an oil temp gauge for like 50 to fill the empty space no sense having a gauge that don't work
