RDFABS (CAI & Short ram) GP interest?
Monday, May 21, 2007 11:42 AM
Sooo....

.....since were all getting into the modding season... we were shooting the @!#$ at the shop the other day and thought we would see if there was a great enough interest in running these for you fellas/ ladies. We've never ran one before so we are looking to do our part for the car enthusiast community and run our first on here for everyone.

If there is interest for any of our other service/ parts/ etc.. we are open to considering price cuts on those as well.

2.2 OHV LN2 CAI

2200 OHV CAI

2.4 LD9 CAI

2.2 Ecotec CAI

We have thought about pricing, but since this isn't an Offical GP i'm not allowed or going to throw that up. If there is some good interest we get one started up for everyone!

huch much you want for the LD9 cold air. Can you make one with out the extra pipe going to the original intake manifold, because I have the HO intake manifold. Thank you

GMR has got nothing on this

^^^
Was thinking the same thing.

Also, same sized piping for the whole intake.
No transitions.

yeah i notice the diffenrent size piping but im guessing that he has it like that at the ends because of the couplings size. But it would be good to have it all the same size.

Well,
I'll guessing the pipe that's going down there is 2.5"

Induction dynamics is the same way.

But you can fit a 2.75" pipe through the hole over there no problem.\

Ok here is what we would be offereing them for....

Engine........SHORT RAM...........CAI

2200 ------------$90 (reg.100)-------------$185 (reg. $205)

2.2 -------------$90 (reg. $100)-------------$185 (reg. $205)

2.2 eco----------$125 (reg.$145) -------------$215 (reg. $250)

2.4 --------------$125 (reg. $145)------------$215 (reg. $250)

USD + normal shipping.

We'd love to make an intake for the guys who have done the HO or LO mani swap, but unfortunately the only J's we have at the shop are Myself and Chris ( agentomega) and we both have the 2200 motor. So unless we can find someone to come into the shop and let us mock one up and take measurements and make it, we a ship out of water. If somone is willing to come in and let us do that, we'd be more than happy to offer you the same discount above and also help out your fellow J tuners or others car who have done the same application.

edit: the change in piping size for the CA Extension is 2.5" so that it can fit through the fender well wall and not have to cut anything away or worry about moving your coolant resovoir. The upper portion is all 3".. just to clear up any questions.

also...i have an eco valve cover i want to get either polished or powder-coated....how much you think you guys could do it for? im running out of time to do it myself

Joe - Chris would be doing the polishing most likely, its $15.00 an hr and usually 2-3hrs to do it and i'm sure ryan can make some sort of adaptor flange between the manifold and the ecotec intake ports. I'm sure others on here would want one as well..

I've sent a few PM's to people, others i will send some later.. I've been at work since 4am this morning, i need to get out and enjoy the sun since working in a meat cooler is very lame.

what are we looking at for shipping to Canada, i'm near Toronto, ON. so i'm not all that far from you.

The part would be the 2.2 OHV non ecotec CAI, and do these come with filters?

thanks

All the intakes will come with a red or blue filter, your choice. Or we have K&N's you can pay a little more for one and subsititue that instead.

The K&N's are $25 more to the order and look like this but nice and clean....

Shipping to Ontario, CA is $40 even to cover border fee's etc.
Shipping anywhere in the U.S. is $35.

Alcoholjc- Of course, we can work something out on the side.

From the black coupler to the right side of the photo is the CAI extension.

Sunflowerpower- this is what yours would look like uninstalled.

We should have this up and running shortly.
