ive been researching short ram intakes for a while, people say go on ebay and buy the cheap one put a k&n filter on it and its all the same. but the ones on ebay are extremely short looking i was wondering if any one has any pics of a short ram intake.

short rams are typically pretty small

Just purchase a cold air intake off ebay and then purchase the K&N filter seperately. I think almost every one of the kits on ebay that come with the K&N filter already are all short ram air intakes.

problem im having with the pics on ebay is that they look like they wont go anywhere that will fit a filter

That intake looks crappy plus the shipping is pretty high. The bends don't look right ... the middle area looks like it should be longer? I'm not sure though since I own a 2200. I searched ebay for 2.4 cavalier intake and they all looked crappy to me. Though I'm no expert. just go to cosmo racing (google it) and buy there 2.4 short ram. replace the filter with a k&n and your out total 65 bucks.

ya go to cosmo racing, thats where i bought mine its a 2.75 inch diameter piping with a bracket that bolts to engine and a filter
