That makes only about 40 more horses with a turbo? No wonder they pulled it.
With a full 2 1/4 exhaust including 4-2-1 header and 2 1/4 cat, a CAI plus an HP tuners reflash you can have more horsepower than this.
I guess there is more potential with this engine, but it seems to me it is a project motor that did not cut it and they are trying to get back a little of their loss, but that is just my guess.
If I had the $$$, I would just do a 2.0 SC swap if I found a low mileage rear damaged SS with the motor, computer and tranny for a good price.
They gained 57.5 whp over stock with only 8 psi and lowered compression. You're not going to get gains like that from bolt ons and HPT.
