I went throught many of these posts and nothing seems to help me. I was wondering what should i be looking for when I purchase my intake? Should I check out EBAY? Should I spend hella money for one. Should I look for one that goes all the way to the throttle body or??? One thing that is baffling me is the sensor that is connected to the middle of the piping on the stock intake. Where is that connected on the aftermarker CAI or Short Ram.
Also... My car is an automatic. I bought it for mainly the looks with dreams of making a really eye catching car. And there were no manuals available. But to the question, What can I do also to make this car have some good power.
All the help will be greatly appreciated.
I AM A NEWBIE. And I am really excited to get my car looking great with a lil bit of get up.
1)get a intake of ebay, throw away the filter n buy a new K&N filter
2)Find one that goes to the throttle body
3)The pipe should have a hole for the sensor on it already made!
4)for good power u prolly wanna go forced inducted.
no more cavy...now 240 =]
I see a cool-air intake
It's got a NOS-fogger system and a T-4 turbo
I see an A.I.C. controller
It has direct port nitrous injection
Yeah, a stand-alone fuel management system
...Not a bad way to spend $10,000
