Ecotec overheating issues?
Tuesday, June 19, 2007 7:27 PM
So I installed a Saab coolant tank so I could run chargepiping where the stock unit is in my third gen and it leaked out of an elbow I was using and now that its fixed and I filled it back up with coolant it still is overheating a tad, can overheating ruin a t-stat or Is there a air bleeder on the 2.2 ecotec anywhere?

The eco self bleeds the coolant system, in a stock set-up. I've had the engine out 4 times and have never done anything special. Just fill the coolant to the cool line, let it run till the stat opens then top it off. I've never had overheating issues...
